PRESS RELEASE

CLOSING OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS

“Person-Centered Health and the Resilient Adolescent

📅 October 24–26, 2025 | 📍Assisi-Italy & Online  Domus Pacis-S.Maria degli Angeli-Assisi-Italy

The proceedings of the international congress “Person-Centered Health and the Resilient Adolescent”, held in Assisi-S.Maria degli Angeli-Italy on October 25, 2025, have officially concluded. The event brought together experts, clinicians, educators, and institutional representatives from around the world, with the shared goal of promoting a scientific and humanistic paradigm centered on the person and adolescent resilience.

This  landmark event in scientific and diplomatic dialogue on youth health and paradigm shifts in medicine was held to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Ambrosiana University and the 31st Anniversary of the World Federation and Society of Adolescentology and the Italian Society of Adolescentology and Medicine.

The opening ceremony  featured the official presentation of the Universal Declaration of Youth Rights and Duties, read and commented  by adolescent delegates from Italy.

During the congress, the World Society of Person-Centered Medicine, the Medicine paradigm shift born in Italy in 1999, was officially founded—an historic initiative marking the beginning of a new global alliance for scientific, educational, and clinical innovation. The founding members are: Giuseppe R. Brera, (Italy) Richard Fiordo, (Italy-USA) Vito Galante,(Italy) Paolo Garascia,(Italy) Roy Kallivayalil, (India)Antonio Licari, (Italy) Mariangela Porta,(Italy) Ettore Ruberti, (Italy)Claudio Violato (Italy-Canada)

The  workshop on the epistemological fragmentation of research on adolescence highlighted the need to adopt the unitary epistemological paradigm of Adolescentology , that starts from the adolescent as person  whose primary evolutionary task is to respond to the natural quest for truth, love, and beauty, as highlighted by Kairology, by overcoming the necessary unconscious conflict between pregenitality—the world of the child—and genitality—the world of the adult.

The Secretariat extends its sincere gratitude to all participants for their scientific, human, and institutional contributions, and invites continued dialogue and collaboration through the University’s  official channels..

Linked  Highlights include:

    • Prof. Giuseppe R. Brera, on the person-centered  paradigm shift in medicine  and the rising mortality and incidence of cancer and cardiovascular disease in Italy and the USA, that can be associated with the epigenetic upheaval triggered by mRNA anti-COVID vaccines..

Proceedings of the Educational Congress of 1 June 2024, held in Milan on 1 June 2024 with the sponsorship of the Ambrosiana University, the CNR of the Italian Society of Adolescentology and Adolescent Medicine, of the World Health Committee

Introduction to the Conference Giuseppe R.Brera Rector -Università Ambrosiana

The educational training in pedagogical, psychological, medical work with adolescents is still today fragmented into theories that separate in an epistemologically wrong way the spirit (the natural question of meaning of life) the emotional and cognitive symbolic world and biological variables, three dimensions in continuous interaction and that the person pilots, with choices that may be true or false for his good. This fragmentation and the cultural abolition of the idea of the objective truth existence, does not grasp the essence of the person and it is the basis of the bio-technological, psychological, sociological and spiritualist reductionism with devastating and pathogenic consequences. The psycho-bio technological reductionism is useful for the profit and social identity of professional roles to the detriment of the health of adolescents and in general of people and of misconceptions of health systems , health education courses and medical education. Kairology, a hermeneutic of human nature born in 1993 and the basis of the Person-centered theory of adolescence and teleonomic substance of the paradigm change of Medicine, Person-Centered Medicine, together with the interactionist progress of the biological sciences, has allowed to unify the interpretative theory of the development of the adolescent and the nature of the person, giving a great contribution to the awareness of the transcendent dignity of man and woman. The natural question to give a meaning to life, revealed by anthropoanalysis, requests the  truth and freedom as necessary condition to answer and is the basis of the awareness of the moral substance of human nature, in all dimensions, based on the objective truth and revealed by God for the good of man to intelligent people.. The purpose of this conference, introductory to the courses of Milan School of Medicine of the Ambrosiana University which has in Adolescentology and Person-Centered Medicine, new paradigm that introduced in 1998, primary excellences pioneering in the world, is to further promote and teach the epistemological change about adolescence and Medicine. The understanding of being a human person and the method to organize knowledge is now essential by the clinical method, today still wrongly taught and applied because of the pandemic of epistemological illiteracy, and that must start from the “who” and not from the “thing” that makes the patient subject only of biological clinical diagnosis, as if he were not involved as a subject in pathogenesis and healing. because the interaction between subjectivity and biological reactions .In adolescence and old age , but in every age.  this error is devastating and iatrogenic and only functional to profit In fact, being comes before every “doing” and every act, as St. John Paul II taught. The pragmatist relativism spread even in unthinkable   environments, should not infect the teaching to clinical and educational activity, “Kairos”   to improve the quality of being a true human person in education and care. This conference  is an introduction to the International Congress:” Assisi 2025-Person-centered health and the resilient adolescent  that will be presented by prof.Claudio Violato and Richard Fiordo. In this conference I will have the honor to present the candidacy by the Ambrosiana University of Prof. Mario  Biava for the Nobel Prize in Medicine, for his discovery of the epigenetic code and the introduction of stem cell reprogramming  which changed thr paradigm of clinical therapy, fundamental in the therapy of tumors and neuro-degenerative diseases, and opening a new time of clinical applications and interactionist research according to Person-Centered Medicine Summary

EXCLUSIVE: Young Ontario woman’s life becomes a living hell after Moderna booster shot leaves her paralyzed. Doctors confirm vaccine connection and offer Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). Kayla Pollock is a 37-year-old mother from Ontario whose life took a drastic turn after receiving a Moderna Covid-19 booster shot. She experienced paralysis from the neck down and has been enduring a challenging ordeal ever since. Kayla’s early years were marked by unspeakable cruelty and suffering. As an infant, she endured the horrors of severe abuse, including broken bones, cigarette burns, and bruises inflicted upon her helpless body by her parents. Her distressing situation prompted the intervention of family and children services, ultimately leading to her placement in a caring, loving and supportive home. As she grew older, Kayla dedicated the majority of her younger adult years to behavioral training of exotic animals. However, she eventually made the decision to resign from this profession after having her son, recognizing the inherent risks of the job. Kayla eventually ended up in the small town of Mount Albert, Ontario, where she co-raised her son after a separation. She worked as a casual educational assistant at Robert Munsch Public School, assisting kindergarten children. Her home was conveniently located right next to the school. Kayla’s son attended the same school where she worked, and she expressed her love for her job and the positive direction her life was heading. Describing herself as fit, healthy, and very active, Kayla enjoyed hiking, being outdoors, gardening, and going places with her son. When the pandemic struck, Kayla recalls the mainstream media, politicians, and public health officials emphasizing the severity of the virus and urging everyone to get vaccinated. She remembers health officials specifically advising that those at highest risk should prioritize getting vaccinated. Being immunocompromised and a type one diabetic, Kayla heeded the advice of health officials and received the first two Pfizer shots in the middle of 2021 and didn’t experience any issues. Additionally, she mentions another reason for getting vaccinated was because her father resided in a long-term care facility with dementia, and vaccination was going to be a requirement for entry into the care home. Kayla then decided to take a booster, but this time it was a Moderna booster shot. She recounts going to a vaccination drive and the police being there. She found that odd and questioned why the police were present. According to Kayla, people were upset that Moderna was being given out instead of Pfizer, and that was the reason for the police presence. Kayla says that something didn’t sit right in her gut, but she went ahead with the Moderna booster shot anyway. She explains her reasoning for getting the third shot was because she felt like a third one would be mandated at some point to get access into her dads long term care home. She received the Moderna booster shot on January 11, 2022. Four days later, Kayla described a situation where her legs just gave out, and she collapsed, but all seemed fine a short time later. Then, nine days later, she experienced a similar event, and at that time, she called her doctor, asking to see a neurologist because she suspected something wasn’t right. On the morning of February 22, 2022, Kayla’s life took an irreversible turn. As she awoke, opened her eyes, a sudden realization struck her – she couldn’t move her body. Despite the shock, she says she remained calm and started yelling for help. Fortunately, her boyfriend who spent the night, was in the driveway preparing to leave for work, and heard her cries for help. Her boyfriend called 911 and Kayla was transported to Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario. While in the emergency department Kayla recounts that the attending physician initially dismissed her symptoms, suggesting that it was all in her head and portrayed her as a “crazy person,” and ordered a psychiatric consult. All of what Kayla describes happening is evident in her medical records which we obtained and reviewed. Eventually, an MRI was conducted, revealing that Kayla had a very large lesion on her spinal cord. A neurologist followed up with Kayla and recommended a course of steroids in an attempt to decrease the size of the lesion. Kayla questioned the neurologist and asked if the lesion could be a tumor. In an audio recording taken by Kayla’s boyfriend, the neurologist responds, saying, “it’s less likely a tumor” and that it is his “gut impression it was caused by the vaccine.” When Kayla questions the doctor as to whether many people have had something similar happen to them, the doctor responds, saying “many people have had it.” Later, Kayla would learn that she had developed transverse myelitis, a condition that interrupts the transmission of messages along the spinal cord nerves throughout the body. She would go on to spend several months in the hospital, where she says she was offered medical assistance in dying (MAID) on two occasions but rejected the offer. During Kayla’s hospital stay, she received steroids, which she claims helped to some extent, allowing her to regain very slight movement in her arms, hands, and fingers. However, she still has absolutely no feeling from the neck down. Visually examining her fingernails reveals decay due to the lack of nerve function. Kayla believes that if the initial doctor had taken her concerns seriously, rather than dismissing her as a “crazy person,” and promptly ordered an MRI, she might have been able to walk again or experience sensation in some parts of her body that she doesn’t have today. After her initial treatment at the local hospital, Kayla was subsequently transferred to Lyndhurst Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto to undergo several months of intensive rehabilitation aimed at attempting to restore her physical capabilities and adapting to her new reality. Unfortunately, Kayla says that rehab did not help her. Following her discharge from the hospital, she now takes a long list of drugs daily. She ended up losing everything she worked hard for—her home, the ability to co-raise her son, and her job, essentially losing everything. Kayla was placed on provincial disability and was forced to move away from Mount Albert, where her son lives, into an apartment that could accommodate her wheelchair accessibility needs. Kayla has faced challenges in obtaining the promised hours of in-home care after leaving the hospital. Kayla relies on a personal support worker to help her get out of bed each morning, another organization assists with meal preparation, and in the evenings, a friend comes over to manually extract feces from her bowel and aid her in getting into bed. Securing compensation through the federal government’s Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) has been difficult for Kayla. She initiated the application process in July of 2022, following up with the program six months later. However, according to Kayla, her application was still under review at that time. Another six months elapsed, and when she sought an update, the program informed her that they had never received her initial application. In response, Kayla reapplied to the program and was recently assigned a case worker. Uncertainty looms over whether she will be approved and, if approved, when she will receive any form of compensation. Kayla faces challenges in performing simple tasks both at home and in the community. She is in a difficult financial situation and desperately seeks a service dog. According to her, having a service dog would not only assist her with daily tasks but also offer companionship, providing her with much-needed company. An organization called Veterans 4 Freedom has stepped in to help Kayla and has set up a GiveSendGo campaign to help her raise funds for a service dog. A link to that fundraising campaign is below.

The training in Person-Centered Medicine and the Person-Centered Clinical Method, in accordance with the interactionist and teleonomic progress of the medical sciences today is the unifying paradigm of Medical Education, because the conception of health today  is conceived as :” The choice of the best possibilities to be the best human person”, (Giuseppe R.Brera 2011)

The specific theoretical reference of the masters dedicated to adolescence of the Ambrosiana University is the ” Person-Centered Theory of Adolescence”  theoretical substance of the new discipline introduced in the world by Prof. Giuseppe R.Brera in 1983, which took the name of Adolescentology and was presented internationally in 1993. From that date also thanks to the action of the Italian Society of Adolescentology and Medicine of Adolescence  and the World Federation and Society od Adolescentology, respectively born in 1991 and in 1994, about 80,000 adolescents were followed by doctors who trained to interpret adolescents according to this theoretical model that gives value to  resources of the person before problems, starting from the person of the adolescent, to be able to build together with her/him new possibilities that can improve the quality of life in health and disease. The theoretical model is  taught in the master in Person-Centered Medicina, valid in every age.

The conference also introduces the Master in Health Education of adolescents, which forms to the application of an advanced methodology and proved very effective even in school difficulties and in different behavioral problems of adolescents.

Researchers of the CNR and other international Institutes of research, the volunteer  in addition to the investigators, clinicians and teachers of Ambrosiana University are invited to attend without charges. It is possible by invitation to participate in streaming.

The Conference is introduced by a lecture by the Rector of the Ambrosiana University, Giuseppe R.Brera on the paradigm of Medicine: Person-Centered Medicine and the presentation of the nomination for the Nobel Prize in Medicine,  Piermario Biava, that will hold a lecture on the discovery of the epigenetic code,  Teachers of the Ambrosiana University , followed by a presentation on the neurobiological evolution of the adolescents’ brain ( Adriana Galvan, Ettore Ruberti) . Central issues on the family of the teenager  will be addressed by   Flavio Della Croce and  the necessary application of person-centred medicine to adolescence by Mariangela Porta, Vito Galante, Domenico Francomano, Paolo Garascia. Marco Invernizzi and Giuseppe R.Brera will address the moral question in Adolescence.

The second part of the international Congress at the presence of a representative of the Consular Corps in Milan will introduce” la Charte Mondiale de la Santé- the World Health Charter, and the International Congress ( prof.Giuseppe R.Brera) : “Person-Centered Health and the resilient adolescent”, Assisi Italy 25-26-27 October 2024( Prof. Claudio Violato University of Minneapolis and Ambrosiana-Pro-Rector and scientific directori of World Health Committee) one the leading investigators in Medical Education, who will introduce a speech by Prof. Richard Fiordo, co-chair of the Congress, (Em of University of North Dakota and professor at the Ambrosiana University), one of the  leading pionieers in Health Communication, Director of Health Communication in the World Health Committee. The professor will address the Assisi 24 Conference on  the topic of  adolescents’ care in the USA.

Person-centered prevention and therapy of Dengue

The President of the World Health Committee, prof.Giuseppe R.Brera, director of the Milan School of Medicine, wrote to the Health Ministry of Peru, where a Dengue epidemic is underway, recommending that a person-centred preventive campaign be launched, based on anti-viral allostasis through health education using natural preventive and therapeutic substances, not repeating the illiterate  errors and omissions of the world and the WHO, driven by BIG-PHARMA, in the health strategy against COVID-19. The problem is to allow an autonomous defense of the population from the epidemic, also educating doctors to the use of effective natural pleiotropoic molecules.

ViA MAIL

Dear Ambassador,

we are informed about the health emergency in Perù because of the virus of Dengue.

We want to suggest to the Minister of Health the activation of a campaign of education to the health of the population with the introduction in the nutrition of the natural substance Curcumin, present in the spice Curcuma Longa, active against the virus also effective against many other viruses including SARS-COV 2.

The best route of administration is inhalation accompanied by  the oral one. In prevention and therapy the complex epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), present in green tea, that showed antiviral activity against dengue should also be used. People and physician should be trained to use Curcumin and EGCG .Moreover it is NECESSARY to educate to the use of mosquitos’ repellents such as the . lemon eucalyptus, p-menthane-3,8-diol (PMD)    The lemon eucalyptus (Corymbia citriodora) extract (oil) evapoured in air and  smeared on the skin is very effective to prevent the against mosquito-borne diseases included ZIKA and malaria.

I hope that your health Ministry will start ASAP the  health education campaign via media. With a Person-centered prevention policy not with the anti-COVID  wrong health strategy.

I Take the occasion to ask the adhesion of Perù to “La Charte mondiale de la santé-the world health charter”

Yours sincerely

Giuseppe R.Brera

‘Spikeopathy’: COVID-19 Spike Protein Is Pathogenic, from Both Virus and Vaccine mRNA

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic caused much illness, many deaths, and profound disruption to society. The production of ‘safe and effective’ vaccines was a key public health target. Sadly, unprecedented high rates of adverse events have overshadowed the benefits. This two-part narrative review presents evidence for the widespread harms of novel product COVID-19 mRNA and adenovectorDNA vaccines and is novel in attempting to provide a thorough overview of harms arising from the new technology in vaccines that relied on human cells producing a foreign antigen that has evidence of pathogenicity. This first paper explores peer-reviewed data counter to the ‘safe and effective’ narrative attached to these new technologies. Spike protein pathogenicity, termed ‘spikeopathy’, whether from the SARS-CoV-2 virus or produced by vaccine gene codes, akin to a ‘synthetic virus’, is increasingly understood in terms of molecular biology and pathophysiology. Pharmacokinetic transfection through body tissues distant from the injection site by lipid-nanoparticles or viral-vector carriers means that ‘spikeopathy’ can affect many organs. The inflammatory properties of the nanoparticles used to ferry mRNA; N1-methylpseudouridine employed to prolong synthetic mRNA function; the widespread biodistribution of the mRNA and DNA codes and translated spike proteins, and autoimmunity via human production of foreign proteins, contribute to harmful effects. This paper reviews autoimmune, cardiovascular, neurological, potential oncological effects, and autopsy evidence for spikeopathy. With many gene-based therapeutic technologies planned, a re-evaluation is necessary and timely

Key Points

  • Highly safe and effective vaccines are central to combat infectious disease epidemics/pandemics.
  • SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is pathogenic, whether from the virus or created from genetic code in mRNA and adenovectorDNA vaccines.
  • Biodistribution rodent study data show lipid nanoparticles carry mRNA to all organs and cross blood-brain and blood-placenta barriers. Some of these tissues are likely to be impervious to viral infection; therefore, the biohazard is particularly from vaccination.
  • Lipid-nanoparticles have inflammatory properties.
  • The modification of mRNA with N1-methylpseudouridine for increased stability leads to the production of spike proteins for months. It is uncertain how many cells and from which organs mRNA spike proteins are produced, and therefore, the exact effective dose delivered per vaccine vial is unknown.
  • The long-term fate of mRNA within cells is currently unknown.
  • The mRNA and adenovectorDNA vaccines act as ‘synthetic viruses’.
  • In the young and healthy, and even in many older individuals with vulnerable comorbidities, the encoding-based COVID-19 vaccines will likely transfect a far more diverse set of tissues than infection by the virus itself.
  • Evidence suggests reverse transcription of mRNA into a DNA copy is possible. This further suggests the possibility of intergenerational transmission if germline cells incorporate the DNA copy into the host genome.
  • Production of foreign proteins such as spike protein on cell surfaces can induce autoimmune responses and tissue damage. This has profoundly negative implications for any future mRNA-based drug or vaccine.
  • The spike protein exerts its pathophysiological effects (‘spikeopathy’) via several mechanisms that lead to inflammation, thrombogenesis, and endotheliitis-related tissue damage and prion-related dysregulation.
  • Interaction of the vaccine-encoded spike protein with ACE-2, P53 and BRCA1 suggests a wide range of possible biological interference with oncological potential.
  • Adverse event data from official pharmacovigilance databases, an FDA-Pfizer report obtained via FOI, show high rates and multiple organ systems affected: primarily neurological, cardiovascular, and reproductive.
  • Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines’ clinical trial data independently interpreted has been peer-review and published to show an unfavourable risk/benefit, especially in the non-elderly. The risks for children clearly outweigh the benefits.
  • Repeated COVID-19 vaccine booster doses appear to induce tolerance and may contribute to recurrent COVID-19 infection and ‘long COVID’.
  • The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has revealed deficiencies in public health and medicines regulatory agencies.
  • A root cause analysis is needed for what now appears a rushed response to an alarming infectious disease pandemic.
  • Treatment modalities for ‘spikeopathy’-related pathology in many organ systems, require urgent research and provision to millions of sufferers of long-term COVID-19 vaccine injuries.
